November 2, 20214 yr Hi I have downloaded some free photogrammetry for different cities such as London and Edinburgh which look great in the Summer. I decided to do a test with snow and was disappointed to see that there is no snow later on the areas I have added. Is it possible to add snow to photogrammetry scenery or is this something that the freeware developers are not adding? If it is across the board then I dont think that they will work for me, but if it is possible, it might have to be a try before you keep policy/ I think I am going to have to remove these areas as it does break the immersion if areas are not covered in snow and I dont want to have to try and remember which addons can only be used in the summer months
November 2, 20214 yr Not sure I totally follow your question but a snow covered landscape can look great in MSFS : https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/210851-o-mr-porter/

By the way you do not need an addon for photogrammetry in London, it is included with a Microsoft World Update. Obviously you choose what to forego, but given that London gets only a handful of days where there's any snow cover on the ground you could be throwing the baby out with the bathwater. November 2, 20214 yr Author The freeware photogrammetry scenery that I have downloaded does not display snow, even when I have full layered snow on as a preset. I am just not sure if it is a sim limitation or if it is something that some photogrammetry scenery designers do not add into the package? As for London, I had some outer areas such as Barking and Newham with photogrammetry, but it doesnt work well when London is covered in snow but these areas stand out as there is no snow apart from on the trees.
