November 18, 20214 yr Howdy, Anyone try the new NX Cub yet? And if so would you happen to know how to toggle the weather radar on or off? Thanks & Happy Landings, Josh
November 18, 20214 yr Apparently it’s basically the same as the existing in game CC cub, with nose gear.

November 18, 20214 yr Author Silly question. But do any of the Bush League Legends Mods also affect the NX Cub?
November 18, 20214 yr I've tried it and it seems OK. Had some weird ground handling at a couple airports and it has broken rudder/brake linkage on the right side of the seat. I hope Bush League Legends gives it some attention.
November 18, 20214 yr I think Bush League Legends planes are standalone, so I think they'll need to add this to their list of modded planes, which I hope they do.
January 4, 20224 yr I've now flown a couple of hours in the NX, a round trip between L06 (Furnace Creek) and KLOO (The Chicken Strip) in Death Valley National Park. I LOVE this plane! The conversion from tail-dragger to tricycle makes it easier to both take off and land - no worries about ground-looping or smacking the prop into the ground if applying the brakes too hard. Everything about this plane is perfect for recreational flying. The aircraft is very well behaved, with very predictable reactions to control inputs. The autopilot and glass cockpit have all the features you could ever want. Stall speed is low enough that you can land even on VERY short strips. It's not quite as STOL capable as the Zlin Shock Ultra, but the autopilot makes it much nicer to fly on a long distance trip. It's as if the designers took everything that made the Piper Cub/Super Cub, and Cessna 152/172 such great GA aircraft, and merged them together. The NX isn't as fast as the C-172 in cruise, but it's approach and touchdown speeds are 25 knots slower, so you can get the NX into and out of landing zones (clearings, tiny airports, etc.) that are considerably smaller than the minimum you would need to operate a C-172. If I had a real pilot's license, and the opportunity to rent an NX, I'd love to take a ride in one. I haven't tried the weather radar. Are you sure that it actually has one? Since this is a single-engine prop plane, seems to me that the radar antenna would have to be mounted in a pod out on the wing somewhere, like what the Cessna 208 Caravan or the TBM has, and I didn't see any such antenna pod on the CubCrafter.
