VSYNC in sim - broken?

Featured Replies

Without VSYNC on in the sim I always get terrible screen tearing, routinely I fly VSYNC on limited to 30FPS on my 60HZ 1080P monitor.  After the update VSYNC doesn't limit frames and I have screen tearing, is it broken?

I have the same set up;

60hz and 1080p with frames limited to 30 and vsync on.

Still working fine for me. Could it be the game is ignoring your settings at each start up?

Yea something going on, really weird.  Not had this issue before.  I have been fiddling with the frame limiter in the NVIDIA settings but everything is back to "application controlled".  Something borked.

I would suggest you try not using Nvidia control panel, leave, don't touch it and reinstall the latest driver and only use settings in MSFS. Set at 30fps with Vsync on. That has always worked perfectly for me. One you do that I can more or less guarantee things will return to normal.
