Saitek Controller Setup issues

Featured Replies

I've struggled with MSFS - especially getting my Saitek Yoke and throttles set up the way I want. For example, I have always used the hat switch to move my viewpoint around the cockpit and outside views of my aircraft. I can't find an appropriate function in the MSFS controller setup, and was wondering if FSUIPC is a better way to go? Are there any tutorials on how to use it?

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure how to help, but I have used both without any issues.

In the controller menu, it's possible to search for functions to assign buttons to it so you don't have to go through all the lists of functions.

If that doesn't work I think you could use SPAD.neXt to assign functions and download profiles.

AMD Ryzen R9 9950X3D | Asus Astral RTX 5080 OC | 32 GB DDR5 6000 CL30 | 3440x1440 G-Sync | Logitech Pro Throttles Rudder Yoke Panels | Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS | TrackIR 5 | Oculus Rift S

I have a Saitek X52 Pro (stick+throttle+rudders) and find FSUIPC by far the best option. You can set specific aircraft profiles and match them up with MSFS equivalents. I have separate profiles for FBW A320, Choppers, PMDG DC-6 and general.

I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials out there if you look - Pete Dowson's site, for instance.
