Forgive me if my knowledge of graphics cards isn't quite up to snuff. Do you know if the overloading of the main thread can cause stuttering at the edges of the screen when frame gen is selected. I have a 3080 card and haven't been able to frame gen in some time now due to the side of the screen stuttering weirdly when I "turn my head" of do a walk around. Thanks in advance

I think it partially depends on what you like to fly. If your preference is to fly airliners, then these may be reasonable options. Personally, I fly GA and corporate aircraft, so I find that FS Economy works the best for me (and it's free). I tried NeoFly and had issues with the software and so haven't gone back to it.

Not that I'm a pilot IRL (I'm just plane crazy), but the Starship has been a favorite of mine for many years. I'd love the chance to see one up close if opportunity ever presented itself. The article made me wonder what one would cost today if it was worth 4.7M in 1993....🤔

The email that I received this morning says the aircraft will be available "next week"... maybe we can't get them until Monday?

I'm curious about the turbine Bo as well. Not being a r/l pilot my understanding of the pro and cons of such conversions is pretty limited - it just feels they were trying to turn the Bonanza into a hotrod. Between A2A and Black Square it's going to be a tough decision to figure what aircraft to fly every day - gonna have to get another hangar to store them all lol!

Trying to better understand how Atmos works... I prefer to fly using live weather/METAR. Does Atmos accept information about live weather from other sources like MSFS or Active sky and then optimize the visualization of that weather in MSFS? Or is it best used for weather presets?

Personally, I very much prefer using my PC over my xbox. But more power to you if you like flying on your Xbox or playstation! At the end of the day this should be about having fun.

I opted out of SU4 because of performance issues. Does anyone know if they have addressed dynamic registration yet?

Yes! The Black Square Starship has functional wipers - don't run them on dry windscreens though lol!

I experienced something like this too after an update to the SU3 beta. I never could figure out why, but I had to re-enable a lot of my 2020 aircraft as well...

Has anyone seen or heard if there is a solution for these CTD's? I've uninstalled/reinstalled FSUIPC, tried running from my backup exe.xml, tried running with a clear community folder and nothing has helped. I've been on the msfs forums and seen nothing that seems to help. Is leaving the beta my only option? Will that even fix anything?

Starship is hands down my most favorite aircraft! This will be a day one purchase for me - can't wait!

I also fly mostly GA, and then mostly in Canada & US. I purchased my Navigraph/Simbrief subscription a few years ago, and I feel that it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Up-to-date charts, SIDS/STARS flight planning & weather. I'm not a real life PPL, but it all seems top notch to me - not to mention linking it through 3rd party GPS. It's not free, but I really couldn't recommend it any more highly.

I'm enjoying this in 2020, but am wondering if there is anyway to get it into 2024 if I didn't purchase it through the 2020 marketplace? Anyone had any luck? I was unable to get engine starts when I streamed it from the 2020 library.

I fly GA and mostly in Canada so VATSIM coverage is often not available for my flights. I'm using BATC for ,most of my flights and like it a lot. It's not perfect, but as far as I know, a perfect ATC package hasn't been developed yet. I've seen definite improvement in the product since I first purchased it, and development continues so I'm happy to stick with BATC.

I just noticed that Flight is saying that it's releasing their Piaggio P-180 on Feb 6/25. Looks like it may be only for MSFS 2020 FlightFX - Microsoft Flight Simulator Aircraft Design Studio

I've experienced similar issues myself, and so far have been able to fix them by updating either the GTN or the trainer... or both. Glad to hear that you got it working again
