ActiveSky FS Released

Has anyone heard anything about AS compatibility with 3rd party software such as Pilot 2 ATC? -
Mods - Please feel free to move this if I'm putting this in the wrong area... I'm definitely not meaning to stir things up, but I'm a little confused by the new ATC programs that are on the horizon... I've been using Pilot 2 ATC for a year or so now, and I really enjoy it - in my opinion it's a "light-year" kind of improvement over the default MSFS ATC.... but now here comes the highly touted Beyond ATC, and Say Intentions (which I only just recently discovered). I'm wondering if anyone out there might have some insight to help me compare the three programs. It sounds like Beyond ATC and Say Intentions are going to be using AI, but I really wonder if the new ATC is going to that much better than P2ATC and if so, how or why? Thanks very much in advance for the insight!

Thanks Dave! I had a similar issue tonight with a sql server error mentioned also. The re-install fixed it for me as well - appreciate the help

Hi everyone! I know that avionics issues with some aircraft were mentioned sometime in the last couple of upgrades, but I feel that I'm not seeing the same problems and I'm wondering if anyone has experience this. I currently can't see any avionics with default TBM - black Garmin screens as has been reported and in the Vision Jet, I get the Garmin 3000 screens to come up, but no display on any of the radios. I've tried updating my graphics drivers (I'm running an RTX3080) and have reset MSFS graphics settings back to default, but no joy. Has anyone seen this and found a solution? Thanks,

You could also request that Navigraph create the aircraft via the forum over there too if you'd like. Navigraph -

Sorry if somebody has already answered this question, but I notice that the traffic radar seems to be inoperable. Is that by design, or have I missed a setting in the a/c? Thanks in advance! -
Thanks very much for this ang58! Much appreciated

Thank you both for the feed back

I've been reading through the forum and have watch 3 or 4 videos on youtube now and I can see the value in Pilot2ATC especially for practicing using the radio in a non-VATSIM sort of environment and for improving the voices and chatter of ATC. I'm wondering what everyone thinks of the quality of this product in terms of does it give better ATC control in MSFS? I've noticed before in MSFS that sometimes the ATC is late in giving me clearance to decend from cruise - forcing a steep decent into approach/final it also seems at times to give strange take off and landing runway assignments compared to what METAR for the airport is (I use live weather all the time). So I'm wondering if P2ATC will give me a more immersive experience, but also will it react to live weather changes and just better ATC before I buy.... Thanks in advance

I was checking my options last night and noticed that my data settings had switched the online functionality to OFF. I'm not sure how that happened (I certainly didn't make any changes to this), but I imagine that turning it back on will solve my issues.... I hope. A good lesson in checking all my settings after an update.

I'm not sure if I just missed something, or maybe I'm a little paranoid lol! Has anyone noticed issues with live weather in MSFS? I fly GA, and often fly between 6 and 15000 feet. I've noticed that the barometer settings given by the AI ATC don't match what I'm seeing in METAR from flightaware. Is this a known issue from the last update? Regards

I've struggled with MSFS - especially getting my Saitek Yoke and throttles set up the way I want. For example, I have always used the hat switch to move my viewpoint around the cockpit and outside views of my aircraft. I can't find an appropriate function in the MSFS controller setup, and was wondering if FSUIPC is a better way to go? Are there any tutorials on how to use it? Thanks in advance

That's too bad, but thanks for clearing it up for me!

I recently purchased both the 750 and the 650 and am using them in P3D v5 - love them... but I was wondering how I can get them to crossfill when using both of the modules in the same aircraft. I've tried running the garmin trainer again, but the button in the settings area of both is dithered. I have a feeling that I'm missing something simple, but I can't get it to work. I fly GA mostly, so it's not really the end of the world if I have to enter my flight plan twice but it would be nice to have this functioning. Thanks in advance,

After "mourning" the loss of my flight sim computer about 3ish years ago, I'm finally back and would like to fly on VATSIM once more... that's the plan. I went to the VATSIM website and for the life of me I can't remember my VATSIM ID or password - does anybody know who/how I contact them to reactivate my account? Thanks in advance!

Thanks everyone!

After a much almost 3 year hiatus from flight simulation, I finally got a new computer and am back in the cockpit again. Looking forward to chatting with you all again!

There doesn't seem to be anything listed on their website either...
