TBM 930 Mod - Throttle Problem - How to Solve?

Featured Replies

Has anyone using the beta found a way to solve the throttle problem in the TBM 930 improvement mod (advancing the throttle forward, puts the throttle in reverse)?

The author of the map says to "remap the throttle 1 axis"

No idea what that means.

Remap to a different axis? Which one? Remap to a key?

I'm using ye olde F2 and F3 key, but that's finicky, not precise, and overdoing F2 means you're bound to put the plane in reverse.

Reverse the keys and create a profile for the TBM

In the Sim, go to Controls settings in the menu - scroll to POWER settings.

Under there, if you select ALL settings, as opposed to ASSIGNED, you will see a lot of Throttle options. If you scroll down you will see THROTTLE 1 AXIS. First though, delete your current setting that is most likely; THROTTLE AXIS (towards the top of the list) then set the control to be under THROTTLE 1 instead.

If you save that as a separate TBM controls preset you won't have to reset it every time you fly a plane with 2 or 4 throttles.

Hope this helps
