December 21, 20214 yr What is this item on the top of the Kodiak 100 dashboard - and what function does it serve. I cannot find any reference to it in the manual. https://www.dropbox.com/s/weaj2rww6ywygcn/Kodiak 100.jpg?dl=0 George Westwell
December 21, 20214 yr Looks like an Angle of attack indicator. Depending on the actual brand, the symbology might look a bit different. The one I use (G3X) is integrated into the PFD. Approach target AOA is the green donut (the yellow/red chevrons are NOT lit when flying approach AoA) Edited December 21, 20214 yr by SAS443 EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
December 21, 20214 yr Author Not so sure it is AOA indicator as it seems to just face the pilot - not as clearly visible from the co pilot seat - but curious to find out what it is and what function it serves. If it was AOA indicator, I would have thought it would be mentioned in the manual? George Westwell
