CaptainSim activation error

Recommended Posts

Hi pilots

On the 21st of December there was a sale action from CaptainSim. The homepage was extremely hard to reach. The purchase was an adventure. I bought the 737-300 and the 757. Now I have an activation problem until today. I have deactivated the windows firewall and my activirus program and still both planes cannot be installed. I always get the following message:

Error 33: Internal server response error. I have been trying for 3 days without success. Does anyone here the same experience???

P.S I would like to use an Instant Online Activation

Regards
Julio Garcia

Not much help but it's working fine here, in the UK.

Have just tried 3 times without success. Fireball disabled but I keep getting the same error message. I do not know what should I do.

@Caribe, have you posted this in their forum? I see a posting there about installation errors. Have you tried to download the two airplanes again now that their servers are not busy?

I also bought the 757 and 767 on the 21st for 10 dollars each, and I had no problems installing and activating even the very same day. Sorry.

It happened to me while installing the 767 and the 737. What I did was hit the back button when I encountered the error and tried a second time and it did work.

Learn by doing Guys...

I have followed your recommendations. Downloaded again...turned off the firewall but the online activation did not work. I have read at Captainsim how to make an offline activation. Step by step. Very simple and bingo now work fine. Thank you all for the great help.
Wish you all merry christmas and all the best for you and your families.

I had these problems too. I tried the offline activation, but the files I downloaded had other names as the installer searched for. Then tried online activation again and to my surprise, it worked then. Never had this with Captainsim before.
