When I installed my FSX in Jan. it worked fine and the King Air's panel worked but now I am missing a SimIcon.:-eek The one that brings up the huge panel that allows you to mess with the lighting and still shows all the gauges doesn't appear but all the other SimIcons are there. The same thing has happend to my G21 Goose.:-hmmm Any help is welcome. Here are some pictures of them in this order; King Air panel, Goose panel, contents of the SimIcons1024 Folder.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/170974.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/170977.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/170978.jpg

Prolly just got corrupted with some addon you installed....happens to me once in a while...Actually, lol, this is my fault (kinda), but I tried that cool new TileProxy app and I needed to uninstall it and I (OOOPS) deleted stuff from my scenery.cfg and can't get it back....so I uninstalled FSX and now am reinstalling it...Good thing I have a FSX install folder on my HDD, so I can quickly reinstall FSX at my desire.Anyway, about your problem...I'd suggest a reinstall if you cannot locate the simicons.cab file on your FSX DVD's (not sure which one it'd be on)And if you do choose a reinstall, first Copy all the contents of DVD1 and DVD2 into a single folder on your hard drive (if you have the 15GB of space free) so next time if this happens you can easily reinstall if (it is MUCH faster than installing fro the DVD's)

Do a re-install choosing the 'repair' option. But first backup what you need to save.
