Radio sound too low, no vol button working (after beta 2f)

Featured Replies

Hi,
some minutes ago, I installed P2A beta 2f, now the responses of P2A voices are very quit, nearly not audible.
I use a dual setup: engine sound on speaker, com on headset, it worked since now (up to beta 2d).

It's not the problem of this older thread, as Active Sky 122.0 or P2A Config - Voices - Test (on individual voices) work well:

In the "Config" - "Voices" Menu, if I press the Test button before my (Cereproc and Window-native) voices, I hear them clear and loud.
If I press the "Radio Test" at the bottom of this menu, a very quiet voice whispers "This is a test of the Radio system...".

The installation notes of beta 2f state that the COM panel volume should be turned up,
but I found the COM panel volume either not changeable or no volume button at all
(P3D V4.5 HF2:
Carenado A36 - vol button not modifiable,
Beech Baron 58 - no vol button
Carenado A114 - no vol button
King Air 350 - no vol, just on/off,
RealAir Turbine Duke - vol button modfiable but no effect on P2A).

I found no option or panel in P3D to change the radio volume,
is there any trick to modify this volume ?

Worked !
Clicking in the "STBY" field in 2f doesn't simply switch the frequency as before but shows the panel with "Volume Mute/Dn/Up".
First checked with the "Radio Test" - was ok.
ATIS, GND, ... ok !
Thanks !

It's the COM Control Palel of P2A, not the aircraft.

You open that by clicking on the STBY Freq on the main P2A Window.

The next beta will have additional Volume control enhancments.

Great to hear. This keeps getting better and better. Each beta test is something....several things....new or improved. Favorite addon to msfs and xplane.
