Zendesk usually takes a day and a half (about 36 hours) to reply to issues. I had to have them straighten out messes twice. I think bbking will have everything restored soon. If and when they have the info/proof of your actions, they can fix it, because they do know how to fix that.

Well i hope you are right. I tried contact microsoft by phone but no way i can get a life person on the phone. Only online help.microsoft.com

I figured out that my e-mail account still exist under microsoft, but no way i can put my password in. So if you forget your password you are screwed. I hope that zendesk replaces my e-mail account with another one that i have given to them...For anyone be aware never delete your account from microsoft!!

I don't own the MS Store version but the Steam version. Perhaps someone else can jump in here?

Kind regards, Michael

Michael, the steam version is that with a game pass?

No, Games pass is for MS Store exclusively, just another way to buy it (via a subscription).

The Steam version is here

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1250410/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_Game_of_the_Year_Edition/

You still need a MS account to login but not all that MS Store Hurlyburly with its hidden directories and stuff.

The internal directory structure (within /Offical and /Community) is the same, but the rest (base directory including FlightSimulator.exe, config directories) are different. One main difference ist the base directory is open and acessible which some (few) addons rely on.

I have all Steam games on K:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps (it depends where you install Steam, the rest will be done automatically) and you can select where you want /Offical and /Community (in my case M:\MSFS).

But I would still wait a bit for an answer from Zendesk.

Offcourse i will wait from Zendesk. But just in case they can't help me out. So i must install Steam on my G drive like you have G:/steam and g:/msfs2020. I have a 2tb ssd only for MSFS2020. Plenty room!!

Yep. As far as I recall, you select G/MSFS2020 upon the first run.

To all: Major update: I have created a new xbox profile with a new name. Then i started MSFS2020. Geuss what: It was loading all the way. One thing i had to re-assign my joystick settings and all the rest. Because settings where at default. I only mis Reno full package (60euro) from Marketplace, which i really didn't use a lot. 3 dreamsceneries installed and for now i am happy!! So in short: Create a new profile in my case in the xbox app. New login at microsoft store and same login into microsoft account. Now i am going to inform Zendesk and Jayne. Thanks for your support!!

Again a happy flightsimmer!!😃

Kind regards to all!
