January 5, 20224 yr Hello: After upgrading to Win11 the RAAS volume in my PMDG products is very low. All other sounds are fine. I do not own the RAAS Pro, just the locked version that came with the PMDG. Thanks all for the help! Allan Burek

Please double check that in Windows. Also check your audio drivers. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
January 6, 20224 yr Author I have checked all that. I also have the latest Realtek drivers. Master volume stays at 40 percent through the control panel even when I move it. Similar issue happened with Windows 10 version 1903 KB4517211, however it isnt applicable here since its win11.
January 6, 20224 yr Commercial Member Are you using this with a PMDG? Because the PMDG volume slider will override our RAAS volume slider. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

I know this thread is nearly two years old, but I'm also having RAAS volume issues after moving to a Windows 11 PC. What PMDG volume slider are you referring to? I know there are volume settings within P3Ds settings, but where are the PMDG ones?

September 8, 20241 yr Was there ever any resolution to this? It's not just a PMDG issue. The RAAS Volume is low in any aircraft. I've even tried setting the RAAS software's exe files to run in compatibility mose for windows 7 and in Admin mode. Nothing helps. It's definately a Windows 11 issue, but there doesn't seem to be much desire to support older software. I run both P3D and MSFS, but I tend to use P3D the most. Am I gonna run into this same issue (lack of software support from the dev) if I buy RAAS Pro for MSFS? Edit: I apologize for not replying sooner. Apparently I forgot to enable my notifications. September 8, 20241 yr Commercial Member Hard to guess. Please check your audio device settings. Set your volumes to max. Some audio devices have their own software with their own internal settings. Pls check those. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

Some audio devices have their own software with their own internal settings. Pls check those. I have. Even with all my volumes to max it has no effect on RAAS. That particular audio channel doesn’t seem to be manipulated anywhere within windows. I’ve also noticed that manipulating the volume bar in the RAAS pro menu doesn’t actually change anything. It doesn’t even save these settings between sessions. It would honestly be MUCH easier if they would just make it an independent audio channel that could be manipulated directly within the Windows audio mixer.
