How to Sqwauk Ident with default FSX panels?

Featured Replies

Hi,I go on VATSIM quite alot and im often told to sqwauk idnet by atc, but I cannot see an actual ident "button" anywhere on the transponder on any default aircraft.I see the painted text saying "IDENT", but you cant enable it.Can someone please tell how I can do this, as im sure you must be able to sqwk ident somehow. Thanks

You need a third-party gauge to provide the function. In FS9, that need was satisfied as part of the SB3 interface.I have no idea what is available for FSX, as I've not had time to look... ;)

Good question, watching.

ah ok.I use FSInn but I dont see an option anywhere.oh well, thx for the info.

In FSInn the top button on your mcp panel 'S' for Standby chnages to 'C' for Charlie when you click on it.Ron

I decided to RTFM!There is an Ident facility in FSInn.You have to double click the squawk section and it switches to ident for 10 secs, then goes back to normal.
