I really don't see what another 'clean' install is going to achieve. Something in the files read by P3D is causing the issue if you can't even reach the scenario screen. Is there anything in Event Viewer?

i agree  with Ray  usually  doing  reinstalls   wont  fix  the issue   you have  done   2  and  doing  a  3rd  probably  wont  fix it  either.  Hopefully  proven wrong  though.  Since  you  said  if  you have  tried  my  link  which  only  takes  about  30 minutes  to do  if that  fails  than  a  clean install of  everything  mite  be  in order

As Steve said yesterday the second run reads add-on.cfg files. There are two. Please paste their contents using the Spoiler feature on the toolbar to hide the contents. One under Program Data - the other under your user profile.

I reinstalled P3D again because I unistalled first due to the thougth I have to repair Windows 10 as in @pete_auau posts. But then I decided to do another try first and look into the add-on. cfg.

The event viewer shows nothing related to P3D - that was one of my first intentions.

Don't give up just yet. Solving problems is a process of elimination. You could try with EA and HDR both off. Set their values from 1 to 0.

Remind me of your CPU, GPU and resolution. Hyperthreading on or off?

I found this tip for a v4 problem where it wouldn’t load...

Move both the terrain.cfg and the scenery.cfg file out of the ProgramData location and onto your desktop

Now launch Prepar3D and test,  Does Prepar3D launch now ?

BUT now I'm very confused:Just for fun I copied my old .cfg (was a Backup from wednesday) and replaced the new one an P3D starts now for the third time in a row without an issue.

Compare your current cfg with the restored one. What are the differences?

Use Notepad++ compare option. If you don’t have it post the restored one here and I’ll check it.
