Dear anyone who can help,

i have been using xplane11 for many moons and i keep all my software upto date but lately my sim crashes to desktop every time just as i turn onto the runway threshold, no matter what airport it will crash without fail, after a restart and then reload saved flight (zibo) it will allow me to enter the runway fine and the sim will be ok ???? very very odd, my initial thought was Xraas so i updated that but its still the same.......Why the threshold ? why would it be ok second time around ?

and also the log gives me no info at all

Strange ... just recently some - new? - users showed up (with only 1 post each), claiming that their X-Plane is constantly crashing, but not one of them wants to share his log.txt. "and also the log gives me no info at all". So, please post your log.txt, if you can't find anything enlightening in it - we might be able to help.

if it's a crash, the very last line always tells you why (even when the very last line is something entirely unrelated to the crash - then you know it was something corrupt either in the installation or custom scenery)

1. Check the last line of the log

2. Check for corrupt plugins

3. Make a video.

1. Don't fix what isn't broken. (Unless you are beta testing or want the new shiney)

2. Keep track of updates and expect them to break things that weren't broken before.

Had crashing issues with 3.51.23... Turns out the win_64.xpl file doesn't like my setup. Using 3.51.23 with 3.51.22 xpl file, no more crashes. Waiting on 3.51.24 that is being tested.

The last line showed XRASS and that was not the issue, so that is not always the case!!! If I remove XRASS, it then stopped at Traffic Global, remove that and it moved on to the next addon... It's not always the last line in the log file that is the problem nor will it point you in the right direction sometimes, it actually didn't have anything to do with addons in my case.
