Selecting the root drive for P3D v5 should be straightforward. Are you typing the entry or just selecting the root folder?

Can you provide a screenshot of Windows Explorer showing that folder? Can you see Prepar3D.exe in it?

I’ve never known anyone to have this problem.

That looks okay. I think you’ll have to ask on the Active Sky forum.

I did ask for the version. Does it say it’s compatible with P3D v5?

That’s not an Active Sky product. Sounds more like a Boeing 787 aircraft.

I cannot find an Active Sky product on Flight1. Hi-Fi sell it on their own website.

Please provide a full name of the product you have purchased. It will be on the receipt.

Hi,

Flight1 do sell the activesky program. The number the OP is quoting is the official full version No: 7877. Those that have been using Activesky are probably using the beta version which is 8054

As to why is won't install, I am not sure. One for their support forum.

Cheers Brian

I would download the 8054 beta version from active sky downloads page. The version you are using may not be compatible with p3d 5.3.
