All of these programs alter the base sim to improve the experience, and this tool is no different. Its very much different. MS did not intend to develop the core component of the sim to be swapped out with its direct competitor. There are enhancements, ancillary changes and then there are core changes. The examples you gave fall into the minor categories and in some cases they even promote the changes and advancements. What you are promoting is changing a fundamental core component of the sim. Why would you not expect them to close this off ? I for one hope they do actively close this avenue at some point. I know .. unpopular opinion but If your going to use the product support the product by using the product the way it was intended to be used.
