Autopilot plugin/mod?

Featured Replies

Hey guys - I'm looking to see if anyone has created a mod or config that would allow the basic AP settings (course, altitude) to work with Asobo's Local Legends planes. These things are pretty to look at and fun to fly, but for those of us with real world responsibilities having a basic AP would allow more enjoyable, longer flights with these pretty antiques.

Cheers

Have you tried using the built in AI Pilot and related functions with a flight plan from the map screen? I have done that with the PMDG DC6 with reasonable results.

give it a try, won’t hurt

I have not tried the AI. Is it able to follow a GPS course?

If you have PMS5 GTN-750 add-on you can use their In-game popup panel.

interesting. however, reading the details, it says: "Works with all default aircraft with autopilot".

I am unsure if either of the Local Legends planes have autopilot. Are you able to confirm this addon works with them?

No, I do not know the Local Legends.

My suggestion is to get the freeware gtn750 plug in for gps functions in the non gps equipped planes then use the ai pilot to follow a flight plan in the gps. Give it a try, it can’t hurt
