FMC. - NAV Index - TUNE There you can tun the NAV Aids. „A“ before the frequeny means automatic and „M“ manual tuning. It is also described in the manual.

You should use it to tune your Nav Frequencies

Important is to set the NAV Frequencies in the FMC - not by changing the NAv Radios. IF you use the Radios the frequencies are not consistant.

BATC IFR Callsign via Simbrief
I solved my Problem now - created a new flight in Simbrief and did not touch the field "ATC callsign" - now it worked ! One cannot correct the entry after inserting something in it - maybe the old entry is saved anywhere and it gets confused. Cheers the help mates!

I am afraid it does not help - I did it that way - Airline RYR / Flight Number 139 - ATC Callsign RYR139 (or leave it empty - then it fills with default value) and BATC calls me "Rere139 139" - But I can live with it - maybe it is only on my system.

I am a satisfied user of BATC. The only thing I am having trouble with is assigning a callsign in Simbrief that is used by BATC AI to call me. Example: I want to fly as Ryanair 123 (RYR123). what do I do in Simbrief? I fill the fields: Airline: RYR FLight Number: 123 ATC Callsign: RYR123 After starting BATC I expect to be called Ryanair123 (RYR123). BATC however calls me RYR123 123 „Ryanair one three nine one three nine“. I tried several combination to convince the AI to call me RYR139 but it did not work. What am I doing wrong?

Winwing -Throttle Desk Mount5 with Profile Bar 1 with AGP
My help or answer comes late but I smiled because i tried to try the same - assembling the AGP to the Mount 5 🙂 Hope you guys found a solution meanwhile. I managed it by using Tape to stick all the parts together before putting the screws inside. ALso to attach the Ursus Throttle to the mount was very tricky- and my gosh - after succeeding I noticed that I had forgotten to put in the USB into the slot on the throttle that must be done before the attachment - my wife heard me yelping - I had to disassemble the whole again. But at the end I managed to get along and am very proud on me now.

Anyone else creating custom checklists?
CReating custom prodedure lists was something I used to do everytime I got a new aircraft. Now there is a german Gentleman (Jaydee) who does the checklist making as a business - they are very good - so I save much time and can immediately jump into the pilot s seat.

How many here are using VATSIM? Thoughts?
I used VATSIM and IVAO when I was younger. Now I am older and try to avoid things that are straining me too much. BATC is a comfortable and either immersing substitute for "living people" ATC. The only con is that the BATC GUI is permanently flickering on my 4K Display.

MSFS 2024 Users!!! Did you delete MSFS 2020 yet???
Since I can use the 2024 PMDG 737 for my home cockpit I do not need 2020 anymore. I deleted most 2020 addons but keep it just in case. i have enough M.2 space so it is not necessary to eliminate it.

Boris PMDG 737 2024 sound pack - what do you think?
I like it - it sounds authentic. What I allways dislike is the extremely loud noise of the ventilation fan in the 737s.

My test flight was successful. 14 years old CPFlight MCP USB (on USB 2.0) works perfectly (after a slow startup). - new driver version 1.01 - newest FSUIPC version.

CPFlight MCP performance in 2020 vs 2024
I installed it yesterday in my home cockpit. At first I had some issues with Defender alerts - then I replaced it by the new version. I had not much time. So I started it. Noticable was that the Cpflight MCP Pro (USB) took long time to „become alive“. At first the output Digits and after a while I could also use the input rotary switches. at first short sight all switches and displays seem to do as they should. But I am going to intensify my tests today.

Msfs2024 Control Bindings Driving Me Nuts!
Very annoying this parking brake kerfuffle some developers indroduced. Parking brake on and off - that was perfekt enough for us simmers - it also often collides with GSX and the result is that you can cancel the whole flight after long preparation because you cannot get rid of the parking brake.

I tried SI 24 hours trial. My first flight was from EDDW Bremen to EDDB Berlin in the Cessna Citation X. I planned the flight on Simbrief with a SID and departure from runway 09 (wind from 170 degrees). As clearance I received „departure from runway 23“ (!), which choose the AI obviously due to the wind direction, and after that „vectors to HIG“. Runway 23 in Bremen is for max TOW of about 5 tons. The empty weight of a citation is about 10 tons. I made several attempts to request a different runway. Reaction was allways „not available“. OK, I did what SI wanted me to to and took off from runway 23, avaiting the „vectors“. Unfortunately the only information SI gave me was „have a good flight“. I did not finish the flight. Instead I purchased BATC. I am happy that my flightplan is respected - the voices are lovely either. Too much intelligence is sometimes not more useful.

You should read the minimal documentation at least minimally. There is a very helpful procedure guide describing setting the NAV source and lot more.
