February 6, 20224 yr Hi, noramlly when I tried to modified the scenery, UGCX will scan and update the database for use during FSX startup, but it doesn't seem now. I only see FSX seeing the changes, but not UGCX.. I'm on the Beta version now. Thank you

February 10, 20224 yr Commercial Member Hi, What kind of changes you did on FSX?, the you modified the scenery.cfg?..because UGCX checks the scenery.cfg changes. Cheers, Manuel

Cheers, Manuel I usually add more addon airports (those freeware airports to be added in Addon scenery). Normally UGCX will ask that it finds new scenery and have to rescan again to update its database. But now I don't see the scan anymore

But now I don't see the scan anymore If the new recently added scenery wasn't added to the scenery.cfg as an entry, then UGCX won't see it, because UGCX detects changes depending on when the scenery.cfg file changes or not, however, you can force it to rebuild the new scenery, by going to the AppData directory and deleting the indeces files. 1- Open a new Windows File Explorer 2- Write "%appdata%" (without the quotes) 3- Find the "Ultimate Ground Crew X" folder 4- There is a "Scenery" sub-folder, then inside "FSX" and "FSX-SE", if you have the Steam edition of "FSX" you need to go into the "FSX-SE" and delete all files inside of that sub-directory. However, if you have MSFS edition of FSX then into "FSX" subdirectory and do the same. 5- Restart FSXan UGCX should rebuild all scenery indeces again.
