if you are paused can you select autopilot and HDG or Nav or approach???? its hard to mouse and use a joystick...it would be good if there was a hardware autopilot you could set up on your desk and just press a button..if it was cheap...unlike the joysticks and rudder pedals..

Maybe you can use keyboard, but need some arrangement.

Suggestions:

1. Assign keyboard keys to the most needed autopilot functions.
2. Trim the aircraft so that it is stable enough for "hands off" flight and use the mouse.
3. Left hand on the stick, right hand on the mouse when manipulating cockpit controls.

it maps ok. H for heading which also turns on the AP and / for disconnect.
