February 27, 20224 yr Hi @Lorby_SI,Oliver, I am trying to setup my Streamdeck for use with @simbol's new aircraft through AAO with @guenseli's WIP profile for it, which he has working fine. I have updated to AAO v2.26 b04, set to run as administrator. The web API is enabled on port 6080. I have set an inbound rule for Windows Defender covering port 6080 as per the troubleshooting guide. I have edited the port inย \AppData\Roaming\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\com.lorbysi.aao.sdPlugin\settings.js to reflect port 6080 I have edited the port inย \AppData\Roaming\Elgato\StreamDeck\Plugins\com.lorbysi.aao.sdPlugin/manifest.json to reflect port 6080 I am not getting a connection between MSFS, AAO and my streamdeck. ----------------------------------------- I then amended the localhost part of the above files to my local IP address, 195.168.0.14 - and rebooted. (as per the troubleshooting guide) There is still no connection between MSFS, AAO and my streamdeck. I'd be gratefulย for any assistance please because I've run out of options now ๐ Edited February 27, 20224 yr by kevinfirth Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
February 27, 20224 yr Commercial Member Sorry, but I have no idea. And little chance to do anything about it, since it seems to be your computer that is the cause. Did the StreamDeck work before (because you are mentioning a new aircraft)? Most importantly, did it work with the AAO demo version that you are supposed to check out before buying the app (as per the product description in the shop)? Andย did you check the Elgato debug console to see what the problem actually is? I suggest that you send an email with your proof of purchase to the support address on the last page of the manual. IMHO a forum is not the right place for something like this. Edited February 27, 20224 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

IMHO a forum is not the right place for something like this. I will send an email. The streamdeck is new, I had already purchased AAO for general use with MSFS and the stream deck was an addition afterwards because it apparently worked with AAO very well for others. I must make clear I'm not after a refund in any way, your apps have proved so useful over many years that even if AAO doesn't do everything I need, you deserve the price of it several times over ๐ I had a look at the elgato app but couldn't see anything in there about a debug console? I'll keep trying because Guenseli has it working, there must just be something that's causing issues at my end.ย I'm not a networking guru so unpacking this and resolving it isn't my primary skill! ๐คฃ Edited February 28, 20224 yr by kevinfirth Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS

It is part of the SDK, I just assumed that Guensli would know about it. The console is a web page (the entire Elgato software is actually a web server) and it must be activated in the registry, see here:Create Your plugin - Developer Documentation (elgato.com) "Debugging" is the second item on the page. Quote On Windows, you will need to add a DWORDย html_remote_debugging_enabledย with valueย 1ย in the registryย @ HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Elgato Systems GmbH\StreamDeck. February 28, 20224 yr Author Just to confirm I now seem to have this working.ย Due to excellent support from @Lorby_SIย the reason for the problem appears to have been that the Windows Defender settings allowing apps to pass through did not update until Defender had been deactivated and reactivated through the full control panel dialog, and not through the app-tray icon. MS strikes again ๐ Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS
