March 7, 20224 yr The Extremity Dead Zone slider will not hold for any axis in any profile. You can set the slider and yes it will take effect immediately and correctly, but switch to another profile and then back and you will find that the slider will be reset to 0 and there will no longer be a dead zone on the two extremities of that controller's axis. This issue was not present before, the settings would all hold before. An Asobo update broke that which used to work perfectly. Therefore I am using Lorby Axis and Ohs now to govern the Axis now. I have removed all axis control from the MSFS assignments. I still use the MSFS Options controller windows to assign buttons and keyboard keys. But not for Axis assignments. If can't put a dead zone on the ends, I have a stick and rudder that is only a very rough compromise compared to real life flight. Especially for VFR in case you are not depending on an autopilot to keep things stable, but instead depending on yourself and your own controller inputs. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. March 7, 20224 yr Yes this showed up in the SU8 beta and was brought to their attention but unfortunately was not fixed before final release. I hope SU9 nips this in the bud. Extreme dead zone is handy for taking care of noisy pots. March 8, 20224 yr Thank god I'm not the only one. I have a Mad Catz Pro Flight Cessna Yoke, and since update 8, I have been having problems saving the profile for any aircraft. Because the Mad Catz Pro Flight Cessna Yoke has a short moment (4cm forward and 4cm aft) I use Extremity Dead Zone to control the amount of yoke/stick movement in the sim. After the update, I can set it to what I need and save it. However, if I close the sim and restart it, I always have to reset Extremity Dead Zone. When I look at the profile, and compare it to an old one, Extremity Dead Zone is missing. In the old profile it is referred to as AxisOutDeadZone. Here follows what I mean:- Old profile; <Axis AxisName="X" AxisSensitivy="19" AxisSensitivyMinus="19" AxisNeutral="0" AxisDeadZone="0" AxisOutDeadZone="9" AxisResponseRate="1050"/> New profile; <Axis AxisName="X" AxisSensitivy="0" AxisSensitivyMinus="0" AxisNeutral="0" AxisDeadZone="0"/> If they were aware of it, why didn't they fix it, instead of winding us up with the issue. Another mounth to wait, please get it right this time Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60GHz. RAM 32 GB 1 500GB SSD and 1 2TB HDD NVIDIA RTX2080Ti 11GB WATER COOLED
