Broken Bravo Throttle Switch?

Featured Replies

Hi, Ive had my Bravo Thottle Quadrant for 2 weeks now and today I've noticed that my furthest rocker switch was set to landing lights on and off, but now it does nothing... Plus when I remove the mapping for it, the landing lights on is still showing as active with no mapping to it.. meaning the box is having a grayish color like it's set to on with nothing mapped to it. Anyone else have dad this issue. All other switches and axis are fine

if you don't get an ansqwer here, try posting this on the Honeycomb official support forum here on Avsim.

I'd suspect it is a faulty switch. When I received my Bravo, one of the switches was faulty out of the box, so I RMAed it for a replacement.

With a quick look at the switches I think they are standard rocker switches available in most electrical/electronics stores. Depending on your particular circumstances it might be worth a look inside the unit & see what type of switcheas are used. @Bill A as you are in the UK and it is new, it is probably worth getting a replacement. For me in Aus. & having a unit for quite some time I would probably go down the switch replacement road first .

Have you checked that the switch doesn't work in Windows Game Controllers properties? If so, then definitely contact Honeycomb.

I don't use my bravo switches for lights, I use a Logitech switch panel, but with that I've found certain planes' light switches won't do anything (but other planes are fine).

The switch I think is ok after a computer reboot. On the other hand when it come to Honeycomb, are they still in business? I ordered some clamps for my throttle system but it's been getting ready to ship for a week now. Tried to call last week numerous times and no answer. Hope I didn't loose 40 bucks cause they did take the money.
