March 19, 20224 yr Moderator @Mike A That's interesting. Back in the late 80’s I met a fellow in Hesperia, CA that was an expert in those motors and was building a helicopter with pulse nets on the tips of the rotos. He had a built chopper in his garage and also some of the jets on test stands. He fired one up and it was amazingly loud. I thought this was the same guy but the one I met was apparently more famous but died from cancer in 1994. His family took up the business. Here’s an article I found on the guy I met. https://www.otherhand.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Gluhareff-Jets.pdf Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

The thing I'm curious about is what is the mechanism that transfers the flow of fuel from the tank to a fuel line on a spinning rotor?
