CJ4 Taxi Lights

Featured Replies

Hi all, anyone else experience the taxi lights on the cj4 to be very very weak at night and you can barely see any lights on in the front?

Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

Is this issue on the WT CJ4, the standard or both?

I believe there is a free lighting mod for the CJ4 (probably works on the WT?) called Uwa light mod pack that might help?

Ive tried both default and currently using WT. Both have the issue. Tried it also with the Uwa light mod with no luck for brighter taxi lights

UPDATE 4.5.3

CHANGELOG:

- improvement logo light

- setting up strobe on beacon location for the longitude: real Newlight

this mod works with all models using ASOBO lighting systems, some models remain with incorrect settings but not for long thanks to a very generous donor, however I would need a little help because the systems management is different, and does not control everything, thank you for your support.

EDITING MODELS

all the retouched models are independent, you can choose only what you want but to visualize the effects on all the traffic I advise you to put them all

ASOBO if you use an improvement model which is not in the list do not use the modification of the ASOBO model

@Waldo Pepper You just beat me to it! I was going to point to the same mod.😊 Definitely improves most aircraft lights.👍

I do use the New Lights mod and love it. Even with this mod enabled it does not beam the taxi lights on the CJ4 enough to make any effect of usefulness.

I just went to the Discord for New Light and the developer posted this comment only few hours ago :-

en court :
augmentation intensité taxi light CJ4
augmentation intensité feu de nav et strobe 777-30

I'm not sure on the exact translation/context but you may want to check out his discord.

Windows Edge translates that as

Quote

‎in short:‎
‎ increase intensity taxi light CJ4‎
‎ increase intensity fire nav and strobe 777-30‎

Sounds. Good. I did reinstall the new light set and now I do get brighter taxi lights. Curious about the Discord updated package
