If a REP squats the odd product bug it's just a side effect and certainly not the main objective. X-Plane or any of the aircraft for which REP is avialable certainly do not come with gimmicks like tie-downs and interactive walkarounds, oil viscosity or fuel contamination modeling or maintenance or aftermarket aircraft modifications or a rudimentary economy system, which is exactly what REP provides. The subject aircraft themselves are perfectly fine. REP simply adds the bits of persistence and complexity that provide long term motivation to use them. I have the REP for JF's Turbo Arrow (X-Plane conversion courtesy of Thranda) and don't want to miss it. Ending a flying session with the battery switch on and not doing a proper runup procedure finally have the negative consequences one would expect in a real airplane. I do know what it is, have it for the carenado b58 and one ither plane.
