TDS GTNXi Customer Service

TLDR: Fantastic.

I was having severe sim stutters every few seconds whenever I turned the GTN on.  I contacted TDS through their discord, and they spent about an hour and a half using remote login on my PC to try and diagnose the issue.  Not once did they ask for hard “proof” of stuttering - they just took my word for it at face value.  Alas the issue could not be resolved, and I have been refunded the purchase.  It’s most likely an issue on Asobo’s end where WASM gauges only go through the main processor thread thus gumming up horsepower needed for a smooth experience.  Should this ever get resolved I will definitely buy from TDS again as I’ve never before experienced that level of outstanding support of a product.

Did you try to move the GTN process to another processor?

No that wasn’t part of the troubleshooting.  Didn’t even know that was possible.  I should note that this was for the VC version and not running a separate GTN window.

It doesnt matter. The GTN runs as a separated process. You can move that process to another cpu core that its running idle or without too much load.

I have had excellent luck with the TDS tech support.  Great folks.  Fortunately I don't have stutters unless I put the GTN's on another display using Right ALT-Left Click.

Yes, they are very passionate about their product. That does not only show in the excellent GTNXi but also in great customer support.

Greetings
Tim
