Wouldn't it be possible to implement the recognition of the aircraft in use so as not to have to change the tail number and the performance every time?

Thanks

would be cool, but that would take quite a lot of orchestration as youd need

  1. reliable way to get a standard aircraft designation from the sim (each sim, because not everyone is using MSFS)
  2. a reliable way to get the flight number (each sim again)
  3. a central database with a functional API to look up performance numbers and climb/descent profiles

The other option would be to integrate with the Simbrief API, which I think would be the cleaner option since it includes descent profiles, cruise speeds, and the flight numbers. This would only be useful for IFR flights obviously.

For me, a database with manual entry would be enough, so as not to have to change the climb and descent rates, the GS and the tail number. And maybe if it is GA aircraft also the callsign which would coincide with the tail number.

Aircraft profiles are on the list of enhancements in a future version.
