This cured my SP1 Stutters

Featured Replies

Greetings,I just want to pass on some info that may help those who are having problems with stuttering after installing SP1.My History: Before SP1, FSX was running extremely smooth for me. FPS was in the 25 range with sliders around 75% and no stuttering. Life was good. After applying SP1 to a clean install of FSX with a fresh defrag, my FPS went into the 50

Can i use that driver with my 7950GT and Windows XP or are they just for 8800's?

Hi Alvega,I checked the nVidia site and it appears that the latest Forceware driver for the 7950GT on XP is version 93.71 dated 2 November 2006. So, I would say that 158.22 driver dated 17 May 2007 will not work with your card. I could be wrong though.David

David,I did not update my video driver. The latest nVidea drivers screws up AA in FS9. So I still have the old one. But I did update the DirectXAnd it may have helped some with the stutters! (Pauses to read from Disks)Manny
