Hi, Anyone have their navajo and/or pilutus porter and using it in FSX? How's it working and are you happy with them? Thinking about getting these. Many thanks. Dave

DaveI have the Porter and the Saratoga and am very happy with bothaircraft. Neither one impacts framerates much but 90% of the time I'm using the VC.Can't comment on the Navajo but I would guess it would be similarto the Saratoga.

FSD Navajo is one of my favorite planes.Overall its great and the fps in FSX are very good.

I have the Navajo, Saratoga, Skymaster, and O2A and all perform well in FSX.Jim

I use the Pilatus Porter a lot for bush flying and general touring plus the 02A. Both run extremely well in FSX. FSD produce top quality aircraft which are highly detailed. You won't be disapponted with any of their products. They did have a problem with their addon skin installers for the 02A and the Porter installer was also playing up a few weeks back, but I believe they have cleared both of these issues up now.If you do encounter any installation problems they are very quick to get back to you via email or the tech support forum and are very friendly and helpful.

Thanks very much for the replies. Glad to know they work well. I quite enjoy the maule in fsx and think the Porter would be a great addition to fsx. Cheers, Dave

I use the Seneca and find it fun to fly. On my rig I get around 10%-15% less fps less than a stock aircraft.

One more question.....How do you find the flight instruments as far as smoothness goes? Do they seem smooth or jerky when flying ifr? Thanks. Dave

With SP1, everything is smooth.

Well I have the Saratoga II and like it a lot.Everything seems to work ok.If you have problems don't expect to much help from FSD personnel.

I have the Seneca, the Saratoga, the Pilatus and the 337. They are my preferred GA aircraft in FSX.Smoothness, even before SP1, is one of the areas where FSD products perform remarkably. Even their glass panels are as smooth as silk.Looking forward for their upcoming Jetstar and H725 :-)

I also have the Seneca, Pilatus and Navajo. All three have the highest frame rates in the VC than any other add-on's I own. Gauge smoothest is excellent. There is a trade off with very high quality VC bit maps, but I think they did a very good job of balancing both. Bob..
