Could someone tell me what the night lights situation is?

Featured Replies

Can the default 738 and 747 have night lights (logo and external cabin windows lit up) and landing lights? Is it only AI which can be adapted to have proper night lights?Thank you in advance.

You should have searched the FSX forum for this subject as you would have found the information you are seeking. :-)However, to repeat - There are two default aircraft that have no night lighting - the B738 and the A321. The problem is the same for both of them - the light-map file "call" is missing from the model file. ACES is aware of this problem. The B744 has night lights as the proper "call" is in the model file.FrankFSX BETA Tester

Ta. Let's hope ACES or another developer can fix the problem, not to be a killjoy but I did expect the bug to be fixed as part of SP1.

SP1 fixed the issue with all night lights; albeit with the new w-key issue. Then we found out those 2 models were broken as well. So they have a different issue.
