This system for stopping cars of fugitives, is added to those already known as PIT maneuver and the spiked bars but observing the many videos posted on the net I noticed that when the policemen are at a close distance from the fugitive's car or have stopped it, never shoot at the tires or use devices suitable for this.

In the many videos you can see cars stop surrounded by police cars at a short distance and then leave again putting the safety of those on the roads at risk but as 99.99% have shown, the use of spiked bands leads to the total stop of the car with the consequent arrest of the fugitive and therefore, IMHO, obviously as soon as there is the possibility and in safety, to puncture the tires of the car on the run, should be a priority that the Police should take into consideration.

You might want a closeup look at how this thing works..

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.
