May 7, 20224 yr Even though I park the airplane at a gate, the plane isn't completely cold and dark. The batteries are already on, i.e., the white "off" lights aren't showing. What am I doing wrong?

How should they power the little "off" light? 🙂 Edited May 7, 20224 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
May 7, 20224 yr Yes it is completely cold and dark and why you see no lights at all. Press the left BATT ON and you will see the right "OFF" light is now ON, Press that BATT and you will have both BATT ON, connect to the GPU when you see a GREEN AVIL light ON, then press that in, everything then will really come to life. All your displays will need turning up and dont forget to turn the BRI up on the MCDU's Also. It's easy to miss the two rotary switchs under the MCP, the right switch turns the brightness up, the left one is the back light. If this is your First airliner and your starting to work it all out, PM/DM me your email and I will send you my walk through PDF, it won't totally hold your hand but will give you every step you need to take and when to do it.
