May 21, 20224 yr Probably missing something obvious here but how do I get the menu screens to stop showing the various functions with the joypad controls and show the keyboard inputs instead? Tried Googling, no joy. Tried mooching around in Options no joy there either.

May 21, 20224 yr There is a command called cursor somethingorother. I removed that from my Xbox Controller profile on my PC installation of MSFS. No more problem. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 21, 20224 yr Author Thanks Fielder, I'll try that. The irony is back at the start of MSFS in 2020, the menus always used to display with the keyboard prompts, not the joypad inputs. Seems to be something that changed in an update. Further irony is I don't even use the joypad for the game, have a Logitech Joystick, but leave it plugged in for when I play Snowrunner or one of the truck sims.
May 21, 20224 yr I use an Xbox Core (series s|x) controller and it will not be connected to a PC until the Logo button turns it on. So MSFS (and Windows) is unaware of it until that button is pushed, even though it is plugged in.
