Goflight EFIS

Featured Replies

Is anybody using the Goflight EFIS module at MSFS, if it is the case, please can share your experience  ?

Thanks

Hi Solito, I use the GF EFIS in MSFS with PMDG B737-700 and it works well, but it requires the software GIT (GoFlight Interface Tool for FS2020) to work. I tried it with the CRJ700 and A320 but could not make it work (the GF MCP Pro works partially with them). I must admit that I did not try to build a profile for those using LVARS because I find it too tedious to understand (and don't know if it would work).

Since the only airliner I now fly is the PMDG B737, I don't mind for the other aircrafts.

Thanks NBouc, I also fly mostly the PDMG B737. Where can I get that GIT  ? do you need to program a profile ?, if that is the case, as I am not capable of programming, can you share yours ?

Thanks again

Available here, https://www.pollypotsoftware.org.uk/, it works out of the box with the PMDG 737.

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

Since Pollypot Software is only for Goflight, I use the Spad.next software für the MCP Pro and EFIS. It works good, but needs a subscription after one year for updates.

Great, I downloaded and installed the app, and now the Efis works OK with the PDMG B737. I tried also with the Salty B747, but it failed. At the GIT interface all the parameters are OK, and the aircraft is recognized as Generic Salty748, but I cannot make it work.

Have you try it with other aircraft besides the B737  ?

Thanks

It works with most (all?) default aircraft.  I think it comes down to whether or not the aircraft uses default autopilot bindings or not

I tried with all default and not default aircraft with Boeing style EFIS , (Asobo and Salty B747 and B777, B737 Max, B 787, and all of them are well recognized by the app, but  my EFIS doesn’t work, it only does with the PDMG B737

Is there a way to do it ? Thanks

Sorry with the EFIS you have to actually set up some commands in Go Flight Interface Tool.  I only use the EFIS for the baro knob.
