Hi Al

Thanks for your helpful comments!

Did not think myself of a livery incompatibility, but removing all addon liveries is curing my C414 problem.

Will find the culprit!

Ernst

If you have a lot of liveries it can be very time consuming to find the conflict since you probably have to restart the sim each time.

If you don't have a reason to suspect the problem is likely one of a small group of liveries (e.g., some recently acquired liveries), an efficient technique is to use a "binary search" where you keep dividing the number of possible offenders in half.

Take half the addons, or liveries in this case, out of the Community folder, restart the sim and see if the problem goes away. This will tell you which "half" of the liveries has the conflicting livery.  Divide the "bad" half of liveries in half and put just those in the Community folder and try again. The results will again tell you which "new" half (which quarter of the liveries) contains the conflict, and so divide that quarter in half and repeat the test, etc. So if you start with 128 liveries, after starting the sim 7 times you will have the "culprit".

Unfortunately of course, there is always the possibility of more than one conflict which  complicates things.

Good luck,

Al

Found the culprit:

My bad! Culprit was an outdated "G-PRIX Lotus" livery, which got an update some time ago und which now works beautyfully!

Followed your systematics, Al. I was happy to have only about 20 liveries installed.

Thanks again for your very valuable hints!
