June 19, 20223 yr Any idea what this means? I've had this last few flights - I don't have failures running everything appears functional during flight. Thomas Derbyshire
June 19, 20223 yr NAV LS tuning disagree. A disagree between MMR1 and MMR2 which is a joint GPS/ILS box. Manually tune ILS 1 / 2. June 19, 20223 yr I think it's a bug. I've seen it a few times on their discord. On your next flight, after you load and everything is settled, try re-loading the panel state (C&D or Turn Around) and see if it comes back. I've had a few bugs that I fixed by always waiting a few seconds after loading then re-selecting my intended panel state. Worth a shot. If not, you can also try JComm's suggestions, and if that doesn't work: https://crewserver1.piac.com.pk/Documents/Circular/FLT_OPS_-_TECH_-_16_-_Fri_May_31_2019_76.pdf is all I found on the web about the issue in the real world. Let us know what ends up working, if anything, Edited June 19, 20223 yr by WestAir Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
June 19, 20223 yr maybe this helps: if "CAT2" only shows, insert on MCDU RADNAV page ILS 108.00 and check that CAT2 INOP disappears, then clear frequency. Ralf Andreas
November 27, 20223 yr Maybe this means the criteria are not in place for a CAT2 approach and landing: CAT2 AMS = Category 2 Approach Monitoring System: CAT 2 annunciator switch indicates armed status of the AMS. AMS will arm: automatically at 600 feet RAD ALT if all conditions for a CAT 2 approach are satisfied and AMS switch will illuminate green: No. 1 and No. 2 glideslope and localizer are valid No. 1 and No. 2 localizers are valid Radio altimeter is valid. Great than 100 feet RAD ALT and less than 600 feet. Landing gear is down NAV selector is in SPLIT position. Autopilot is engaged Autopilot B.LOC not selected Altitude Transfer (ATT) switch set to NORM (located at pilot's lower instrument panel) Compass Transfer (COMP) switch set to NORM (located at pilot's lower instrument panel) Pressing either CAT 2 annunciator switch will reverse the AMS status.
