PMDG 737-700 Broken

This patch should address that.

Now, among other conditions, if he sees combustion on either engine he'll just assume the plane is fully powered and stick to CDU2

Checklist flaps retract status should be fixed.

He no longer complains about issue with gear when he extends it, as he can now monitor the state of Left, Right and Nose gear as they go up or down.

Also in this version, there is no chance you will miss the notification about the need to restart the flight.

Earlier, it was confusing. The message box would remain hidden by the sim when you are in full screen.

Now, MCE will put you in menu mode, minimize MSFS, then display dialog box so you understand that you need to reload the flight.

Patch to be applied to V2.9.7.2 only. Anyone on earlier version, should re-install the full package.

Very impressed by the responses/making changes so fast and on request.

Great! Will try it tomorrow.

The F/O still operates the generator switches saying "now set" during the checklist and asks me to confirm flaps during the before takeoff checklist. Not sure if this was missed in the conversation earlier. While MCP operation works well he's having a hard time setting the course 2 window on his side to the commanded value as well.

By the way, I'm getting the "restart MCE" error every single time on launching MCE for the first time. Loading the flight and MCE again works fine after that. Is it normal to be getting this error on every first launch?

Affirm, it's normal

You can pre-empt the message box by deliberately re-loading the flight after the first load instead of waiting for MCE to start and assess whether all required variables are visible and eventually ask you to reload instead..

Latest "SImco64_Ldr.exe" to use is V2.0.8.2 as posted in patch a few days ago

My after start checklist reads "electrical - generators on" and MCE accepts this response as correct with no operation or double check of the gens, no "now on" response etc. I know what you're talking about, I've seen this happen in the past (even before the PMDG change) but not on the current version.  For whatever that's worth.

Maybe MCE doesn't check the item status in your case since the item is called "electrical" rather than "generators"? My checklist line is "generators - on", so I'm guessing that's a direct command to MCE to check the generator status. That's how I understand MCE works, I could be wrong. In any case, it's not a big deal, just something that's off so I thought it's best to bring that to attention.
