Hi Dave, after update to Public Beta 5 my Joystick (Saitek X52 PRO) is not recognized by P2ATC anymore, i.e. I am not able to communicate with the stick / headphones.

A major change in PB 5 is the replacement of the obsolete joystick management module with a newer one.

You may need to go into your Config Btns settings and clear the PTT button.  Then Set it again.

No success. I even uninstalled and reinstalled P2ATC. When I want to set the PTT button, the drop-down list shows only my mouse and my rudder pedals but not my joystick. Even if I delete the AppConfig.XML file the drop-down list does not list my joystick. Any idea how to solve this?

I'm doing some testing to see what new types of devices the new joystick module recognizes.  This should be fixed in the next beta.

Hi Dave, thank you. My device is X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S. and it is showed as X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S.; Type: FirstPerson.

Thanks for the feedback.  I can make changes for the next Beta to be sure and include FirstPerson types.

This pre-release beta solved the joystick issue for me as well. My joystick shows up as First Person type, my throttle shows up as First Person type as well as Device type and my rudder pedals show up as Supplemental type as well as Device type.

Mouse; Type: Mouse

Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals; Type: Joystick

X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S.; Type: FirstPerson
