I couldn't get to my flight sim PC to access the marketplace before Sunday. I'm not hating on MS and I'm not mad about it but in this case people that were planning for a Sunday shopping tour missing out on the sale is entirely on them. Missing the bus because it left early and without notification isn't the passenger's fault. Need proper communication next time.

This is exactly my point, "PDT" is something that takes place only in a small part of the world and is not suited to a worldwide internet based sale.
The published time needed to be a time that is recognised everywhere and that occurs at exactly the same moment, regardless of the local time.

Agreed. They usually refer to PDT/PST though, so I guess that's the reference in this case, too.

There is another sale now, from August 18th to August 20th, as announced by Jorg in the Twitch Q&A today. If the product you are looking for is on sale, I suggest you buy it today, or else you may miss the sale deadline again.

No problem. Just buy it today, if the product you are looking on is on sale.  Who knows what they mean by "August 20th." Maybe they end the sale a day earlier, because "August 20th" for them is "August 19th" for you.
