I have used the site for the past year, fantastic sounds, i actually pay a bit more just as a thanks. Those F18 sounds are on par with DCS

Excellent!  I can't wait to try them.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I kept my subscription going too.  3rd party devs invest so much of their time, so I like to support them when I can.

I like his/her business model.   Not trying to ask people for money they can't afford, instead he's making his work extremely accessible.  The customer with $2 to offer can download as much content as the customer who has a full wallet.

If a customer want's to leave a bigger tip on the table,  they have the option.

Finally got round to watching the video (at 2x speed!) and I actually think Mathjis came across pretty well. He (rightly) has a reputation for being very abrupt and coming across as rude at times but I think the video shows he simply has a dry sense of humour combined with a dry delivery and that on a forum can certainly appear to be plain rudeness. Now, that's not to say that he isn't ever rude to customers (that's for others to decide for themselves), but I think it does show why he can appear that way. He was honest that his company is a business and needs to consider profit (as does any business). Drinking wine makes him in some way evil personified? Nobody mentioned that Alexis was drinking wine too, so they must be the male version of "Twins of Evil".

(Just not as good-looking, sorry guys!).

So, I'm not saying his critics are wrong as much as I'm saying I can see why he can seem unlikeable on the Aerosoft forum. Just my opinion, I'm neither right nor wrong. (well, apart from the "good-looking" comment!😝 And I'm no oil painting myself).
