In UGCX the follow me car and its shadow are off the ground! And it happens at all airports.

Yes, I have noticed the same behavior too....

The tugs are OK.

Are you using a payware airport with a slope?

Try it a default airport please.

No sloped runway - also on default Airports !

What version of UGCX are you using?, and also can you confirm if the "Create ground crew as vehicles (Uncheck = GSX Compatible)" option in Aircraft profile is checked or unchecked?

I use P3D 4.5. UGCX version = 2.0.0.45 of 2-6-2022  I will check the GSX option.

GSX is unchecked

Try updating to the last version UGCX 2.6, and also try checking the GSX option (just to verify if there is any difference).

GSX option = unchecked

UGCX Version = 2.6.0.0

...unfortunately I always have floating cars...

 for testing purposes: GSX option = checked - same result !
