August 30, 20223 yr I am using Addon Organizer v. 1.56 b09 with P3D v. 5.3 HF2, and am very happy with it. I have now started organizing my photosceneries into groups, and created one for my African sceneries. Then I moved my sceneries into the group with the --> as instructed by the manual, and (as far as I could see) deactivated the group. However, the sceneries are still in their "original" position, as well as in the group. Should I delete them from their "original" position (that is, where they were along with all the other sceneries) so they are only present in the group? That seems most logical to me, but I thought I better ask before I did something I would regret.... Jorgen
August 30, 20223 yr Noooooo...don't do that! When you put a scenery into a group, it adds an entry to the config file identifying it as a member of the group--it does not move anything. When you deactivate a group, it does not remove the sceneries, but rather it disables them in the config. The disabled entries still remain so that they can be re-enabled by re-activating the group. August 30, 20223 yr Commercial Member To add: to deactivate a group, doubleclick it, so it turns red. Doubleclick again to activate it. The Checkboxes have a different purpose. Edited August 30, 20223 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 31, 20223 yr Author Thank you, Gentlemen, for your replies! I am still learning about this one.... Jorgen
August 31, 20223 yr Author I must have done something - er, not QUITE right. The group I created is there, but the sceneries I thought I had added to the group with the arrow are not showing in the group when I hit Edit Group. Is there maybe a save function that I have missed? Jorgen
September 2, 20223 yr Author The "Submit" button was what I was looking for. So, I have my group with scenery in it, and I can activate it and de-activate it by double-clicking. Now I have noticed that loading time for P3D is about the same with the group activated and de-activated. Shouldn't there be a reduction in loading time with some photoscenery deactivated? Jorgen

From P3Dv4 and v5I will start learning on what you did with Lorby Groups expecting about the same thing as I do with Scenery Configurator Editor (SceneryConfigEditor v1.1.9) for the FSX sim.
