August 30, 20223 yr I am running PMDG B7474 P3D using TM Boeing throttle quadrants(2 X), TM Boeing Yoke and CH rudders. The rudder is auto trimming when the autopilot is off in the case of engine failure for reasons I cannot establish. I am using Fsuipc. Any ideas as to why?
August 30, 20223 yr I would imagine that it's rudder bias kicking in as a result of the engine failure. September 14, 20223 yr Author The B747 doesn't have a rudder bias or any other mechanism to provide assistance with engine failure. Any other clues as to why this is happening, I am sure it is a setting issue and not something that PMDG has programmed as a standard.
September 14, 20223 yr Do you have auto rudder set in the P3D settings? What do you have assigned in FSUIPC for the rudder and rudder trim (if you have that set)? Edited September 14, 20223 yr by cowpatz Cheers Steve Hall

When you assign Rudder via FSUIPC rather than P3D default one, the game with think you don't have a hardware rudder thus turn the autorudder on for you automatically
