The two I am focused on are the Headwinds A330-900 and the ProjectMegaPack ( PMP) A330-300. I know they are different versions of the A330, but I'm not going to get both.

I'm just wondering how they compare, model and systems wise.

Please don't say 'get both' or 'it depends on what routes you want to fly'  - I'd just like a comparison of the quality of the models, please. 🙂

I haven't used the A330-300 at all.  For some reason I was under the impression that they weren't updating it still.  I use the A330-900 fairly regularly.  It's built on the FBW A320, so its a nice middle of the road long hauler.  Not particularly deep systems, but it looks good IMO and is fun to fly.

Headwind until Aerosoft comes out with a semi legit A330.

i still say, test them yourself...i cant see any reason why that is not possible.

Apparently, PMP are back in business, developing the -300 with v0.3 out. I wasn't even aware of PMP until this week. Thanks for the views on the Headwind one - very helpful. 🙂

Yes, long term that's what I'll be looking out for, too. I don't think we'll be getting it any time soon, however, so it's either the Headwind or PMP aircraft for now.
