September 17, 20223 yr It is not clear to me how the Toggle Pause binding is suppose to work. I have assigned a key to Toggle Pause and when pressed it pauses the sim and takes me to the window where I can select between Activities, Assistance Options, General Options or Controls Options. That's fine, but then pressing the key for Toggle Pause again, does nothing. Since it is a toggle function I would expect it to unPause the sim when pressed again. Instead I have to click on Resume (or use the key assigned to Pause Off) to return to the main flight window. So Toggle Pause does not "toggle" anything it seems. Is this a bug on my system? September 17, 20223 yr I think it's another example of Asobo's lack of attention to detail. I don't think it *is* a toggle key, so it's one key for pause, a different key for UN-pause. They should either make it a proper toggle or remove that word from the label in the GUI.
September 17, 20223 yr It used to be a true toggle when MSFS was released. But one of the sim updates changed that. Maybe they made this change when they added xbox console support (because of how the xbox controller buttons work, or something). September 17, 20223 yr Author Thanks for the responses. So we have: Toggle Pause -- which now is NOT a toggle function, but pauses the sim AND takes you to Activities, Assistance Options, General Options, Controls Options window. Pause On -- which pauses the sim but does not change the display. Pause Off -- which unpauses BOTH of the above pause controls Active Pause -- which IS a toggle function, and when on freezes the flight but you can still interact with the plane and the sim.
