September 26, 20223 yr CFY 737 Motorized 737 Max throttle I picked up this throttle as part of my SimOn Solutions 737 Compact trainer package. What additional items needed to use the throttle unit Qty-1 US Plug Adapters (European to US Plug) I ordered 2 2-packs as I needed another for my wet compass. Qty- 1 USB to Ethernet adapter for the CFY throttle unit CFY Setup and configuration utility (Free from the CFY web site) CFY license for PMDG or Prosim ($50) Upon unboxing the throttle unit ships with the motorized trim wheels off the unit. The throttle itself was well packaged and wrapped up to prevent any damage during shipping from overseas. It’s a simple 2-minute install for the trim wheels on the throttle unit. The throttle is connected to the computer via an ethernet connection via the ethernet adapter. This is an excellent throttle nice heavy feel nothing flimsy about this unit. The setup was a breeze you need to download the setup configuration utility. Once you have it installed you run the utility and follow the steps. It’s cool to see the utility and take over the motorized functions. The throttle performs flawlessly in the sim it’s awesome to engage the auto throttle on takeoff and watch the throttle advance and roll back after departure. If you are in the market for a motorized throttle, I highly recommend the CFY 737 NG and or Max throttle it’s well worth the price. October 1, 20223 yr Beautiful setup. how’s the energy costs in Florida?, I ask because I’m noticing here in the UK energy costs are out of control and costing a lot of money to run the sim, or pc, for any length of time. Does a setup like this consume much power? Looks like your running 2 + 1 monitors,(assuming there is one behind the panel) 3 total, and 1 jetline pc? Luke Pype

Costs are still low plus my home is newer and very energy efficient, so I really do not see an impact in running my setup. 1 PC 2 Monitors for the MIP 2 Monitors for the views MIP Overhead Throttle On 10/1/2022 at 8:29 AM, MaDDogz said: JetLine Systems Gravity GT2-Windows 10 Home Edition (64-Bit), NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO WIFI, LGA 1151, Intel 9th Gen Core i9 9900K (5.0GHz Turbo) 8 Core / 16 Thread, Corsair Hydro H60 120mm Liquid Cooling, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB, 12GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, GDDR6, 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply, 5.1 Channel Realtek Integrated HD Audio, Primary SSD Drive:1TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD), Secondary SSD Drive:2TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD) 4TB WD Black 7200 RPM Mechanical , SimOn Solutions 737 Professional Compact Trainer (MIP, OH).
