October 7, 20223 yr Trying to land the Kit Fox and after touch down, plane goes squirrely all over the runway. Can't seem to keep it straight down the Runway. I know when taking off I have to give it some right rudder. But the landings are giving me grief. Coming in at around 40/50 kts. Tried flaps and no flaps on the landing still hard to keep under control and keep it in a straight line. Anyone else having this problem? Or any suggestions? I've played with the sensitivities. Helped a little bit I think, but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Walt Walt Popowski
October 7, 20223 yr Even tricycle gear aircraft can be ultra touchy in MSFS. My best advice is very fine / small rudder inputs upon touchdown. Also I prefer to land on the mains first in taildraggers for visibility and control. Three pointers, in msfs at least, are usually a mess. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 8, 20223 yr Best to come in straight as you can with tail draggers.
